December 1, 2018 by MrWriter Leave a Comment

Anxiety occurs when the mind is under a state of pressure or stress related to a fear that some event that will affect the lives of a person or a loved one are about to happen. There are several reasons why people experience anxiety. Since anxiety measures the ability of our body to respond to situations and find solutions to them, anxiety can be a good thing when we learn to manage it properly.

There are several factors that can contribute to a person having anxiety. A family history of anxiety, some stressful situation like getting medical test results back, the death of a loved one, or deteriorating health conditions of a member of the family are just some of more common causes of anxiety. It is important that you learn to understand the causes of anxiety before attempting to understand the cures for this disorder.

It is important to know that anxiety is not considered a disease. People do not suffer from anxiety regularly or over long periods of time. If a person suffers from anxiety over an extended period of time, that person can be suffering from anxiety attack disorder and should seek immediate medical guidance.

It is also important to realize that there is a difference between anxiety and panic. Panic is a short duration stressful condition that usually goes away quickly. Anxiety is something that persists for some time, although neither condition should last beyond a day or two. Only in very extreme situations does anxiety require medication. Usually some simple household tips are enough to help a person reduce or eliminate the causes of anxiety.

The easiest thing to try if you are suffering from anxiety, is simple deep breathing exercises. Fresh oxygen pumping into your circulatory system helps improve blood flow to the brain where anxiety related nervous signals begin. You should spend at least 15 to 20 minutes every morning when you wake up and every evening before you go to bed doing this.

Also drink as much water as possible to help flush the toxins out of your blood stream. Do not overcommit yourself at work. Give yourself plenty of time to do the work that is expected of you. If this is something that is out of your control, get enough rest to make sure your mind and body are prepared to pump out the extra work. Doing just these simple tasks might make you forget about your anxiety and help you to not experience it anymore.
