Do you, like most people, habitually focus on thoughts that take away your power? Anything that takes away your power leaves you feeling unhappy, unproductive or underproductive, uncertain and unclear. That way of being in the world leads to procrastination and a desire to stay stuck in one’s life, in one’s “know zone.”
That way of existing allows you to generate reasons for not living your dreams. Stop and think about your reasons. They are all the excuses you tell yourself about why you cannot change your life or your circumstances. Those are all the lies you ration to keep yourself stuck-you ration-all-lies.
You can have a great life or you can have great excuses.
You see, I never ask anything of anyone that I have not done myself. I know when I live consciously, when I listen to my thoughts, I choose to stay in a positive mindset. No, I am not saying that simply by thinking positive thoughts you will instantly change your life from okay to terrific.
What I am saying is that if you choose to think negative thoughts your life will definitely, beyond a shadow of a doubt, remain exactly as it is. Whatever is missing will continue to elude you for the rest of your life.
For now, know that whatever you think about your life and your degree of happiness is simply whatever you think about your life and your degree of happiness. It is not good. It is not bad. It just is what it is.
Just understand why you think as you do and why you make the choices you make. Most importantly, make sure those are your choices rather choices made by some media person or current fad…or friend. A real friend accepts you as you are and exactly as you are not. Period.
